A number of bills to loosen restrictions on gun laws are moving forward in the legislature
Republican state lawmakers are again making a push to allow gun owners to carry a concealed weapon in more places. Proposed measures include doing away with the need for a concealed carry permit, allow firearms on U.S. Postal Service property, permit legislators to be armed in the State Capitol and give permission to teachers to carry a concealed weapon in schools.
