Professor comes forward with Kavanaugh assault allegation

Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Palo Alto University in California, told The Washington Post that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s. Ford said that Kavanaugh and another friend corralled her to a bedroom where Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and groped her. Kavanaugh has denied the allegations. NewsHour’s Lisa Desjardins joins Hari Sreenivasan.
