In our news wrap Tuesday, new efforts are underway to get another pandemic aid package through Congress. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said her chamber will stay in session until there’s a deal. A bipartisan group of lawmakers endorsed spending $1.5 trillion as a compromise. Also, the U.S. is warning against travel to mainland China and Hong Kong for fear of arbitrary detention and interrogation.
