Nearly a half century has been forgotten, in one of America's most famous towns.

In the late nineteenth century, Aspen, Colorado was known as one of the most profitable and successful mining camps in the west. This success however, took a turn for the worse with the demonetization of silver in 1893. Aspen's future looked bleak, but people who remained in the area survived with high spirits.
