MONTANA FOCUS

The Top Job

  • Aired: 10/17/2012
  • Rating: NR
The "top job" in Montana government is up for grabs. Under the state's term limits law, Governor Brian Schweitzer will be leaving office after eight years at the helm. His successor will have a budget surplus of more that $453 million as a cushion to make the transition a little easier. Vying to replace Schweitzer, are Democrat Steve Bullock, Republican Rick Hill, and Libertarian Ron Vandevender.
